To all my wonderful readers, this is just a quick note to say that I hope you had a happy Christmas day and continue to enjoy this great season! We’ve had three big days of Christmas parties with family and are today having a quiet one.
I wish you all a happy and safe 2015. Thank you so much for reading my blog and especially if you commented here or subscribed to it this year. I’ve surpassed my goal of 100 followers and starting this website has been a real joy and one of my highlights during 2014. I hope to do a lot more writing and be in touch with you in the New Year.
I haven’t had time to write about this Christmas, which is really an extraordinary one. But writer Lindsay Stone has, beginning with the new slaughter of the innocents in the Middle East which is happening right now, and continuing thus:
“…strange as it may sound to our ears, evil is at the heart of Christmas. We might even ask if there would be a Christmas without evil, or at least if we would have so much cause for joy, because without evil there would be no need for deliverance, no need for hope. It is only because we live in a world consumed with wickedness that we have reason to proclaim:
O Radiant Dawn,
splendour of eternal light, sun of justice:
come and shine on those who dwell
in darkness and in the shadow of death.”

God bless you and all your loved ones.
Merry Christmas to you! Enjoy the season, thanks for all your great writing in 2014!
